Matias Barandiaran

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lancaster University. I have a strong interest in software development, data engineering, and machine learning. I’ve picked up a lot from my research experience, and I’m excited to bring that into more practical settings.

Lately, I’ve been particularly interested in the crypto space, specifically volatility forecasting of crypto options. I’m now working alongside quants and traders at Ransky Tech, a proprietary trading firm, to help streamline research and contribute to crypto trading strategy.
